After reading the above I would like to add my 2 bob's worth.
I set up and completed a heap leach gold operation at Day Dawn ( about 7 kms south of Cue), from October 1989 to Feb 1992.
I had a project budget of 14,000 Ounces and poured 15,530 ounces, so a pretty good result for Son's Of Gwalia mining.
The point of this comment is the Gold I sent to the Perth Mint was in excess of 99% and close to 99.8% pure, and I am sure the Perth Mint records will back me up there.
So gold from around the Cue district can be expected to be fairly rich.
The operation I operated was only the top 50 metres above the Golden Crown underground mine workings so we were limited.
I went to Cue to do a 2 year project and ended up staying in excess of 9 years, so be careful the place has a magnetic sort of influence when you get there.
