Snoopy before cleaning him
I was up north from Cue on an E40, looking for gold of course. One of the other detectorists out there told me he had found some gold in a small patch and it just happened to be the same graticule I had selected. While working away I came across a very strong signal. On recovering the little 5.4 gram nugget I was surprised to see the shape of the little beast. I had the gold man clean it up and put a chain on it to make a necklace. I rang my wife and told her I was bringing a dog home with me, his name was Snoopy. I also said I had put a chain on him to stop him from wandering about the local tourist park. She was not happy, that is until I sent her a photograph of the little fellow.
Good luck to all out there looking for their fortune.
